Vela Poland has successfully completed the “Support of the Flood-Affected Areas” project, with the final distribution taking place on February 23rd. Ten families and two collective sites with 180 and 25 residents were supported through the provision of food packages and hygiene kits. Additionally, we distributed shoes for children and school kits.
Since September, our team has conducted seven trips to the flood-affected regions of Lower Silesia, providing assistance to 184 families and six shelters, which collectively serve approximately 400 individuals. The distributions included food packages, household items, and electronic equipment.This project was made possible through the generous support of the @Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We express our sincere gratitude for their trust in Vela to aid the most vulnerable populations during times of crisis.
